Sesame Place Day One

We had a fabulous time at Sesame Place! It was a whirlwind of a trip since we did it in 2 days but it was so worth it. The first day we decided to do most of the water activities since it's hard to change in and out of our swimsuits. They had a lot of water activities that were great for their age. We started out with the "Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave pool" It was a little wave pool where the deepest spot was 2 feet, so it was perfect for them. Then we went over to "Count Splash Castle". Ethan didn't like that one too much since there was water falling on your head all over the place. It would have been fine, but it was actually a little over cast outside that day so it was a bit cold in the water. I think it shocked him a bit.
The day ended with the Sesame Place parade and Ethan and Jillian were starstruck! They couldn't believe they were looking at Elmo and friends in person. They were sooo excited.
Here are the pictures from our first day:

Daddy and the kids in the "Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave" Pool. The water was very cold so we took them in very slowly.

Me and my babies

Ethan loved running around under the big water sprinkler

My sweet Ethan. We are waiting for the parade to start. We were all exhausted by this point in the day

Big Bird!!!

Jillian was so excited we couldn't even get her to sit down. We were at the beginning of the parade so she could see the characters behind the gate. She kept pointing and yelling "Elmo!!"

Come on out Elmo!!!

She was bouncing up and down here waiting for Elmo to come out

The Count giving Jillian a high five!

Sitting down to eat lunch in the extremely expensive restaurant. I never knew chicken tenders and fries could cost so much!

So tired! We had about an hour drive from Sesame Place back to our hotel. The hotel was only 15 miles from there, but with the awful traffic it took us an hour! We were so tired by the end of the day.
